About Tempgmail.io

A free, temporary Gmail address for the moments when a website wants your email but you don’t want to give it.

Why we built it

Almost every website asks for an email address, even when you only want to read one article, try one tool or get one code. Each sign-up adds more newsletters, promotions and spam to your real inbox, and puts your address in one more database that could leak.

Tempgmail.io gives you a throwaway address instead. You use it once, copy your code, and walk away. Your real email stays yours.

How it works

Gmail ignores dots in an address, so [email protected] and [email protected] reach the same inbox. We run a set of Gmail inboxes and give each visitor a different variation of one. Mail that arrives for your variation, after you got it, is shown on your screen within seconds, and verification codes are picked out automatically.

Because the addresses end in @gmail.com, they are accepted by more websites than the unknown domains most temporary email services use.

What we stand for
No accounts, no adsAnonymous visitor counts; no third-party analytics
Short-lived by designAddresses expire, and emails are kept only briefly
Safety firstMail from banks, payments, crypto and government senders is hidden
Honest about limitsInboxes are public, so we tell you to use them for testing only

Who it’s for

People who want to try a website without the spam, developers and QA testers checking sign-up and verification emails, and anyone who would rather not hand out their personal address to every form on the internet.

It is not for banking, government services, work accounts or anything you want to keep. Please read our Terms of Use.
