Terms of Use
Effective October 21, 2026
1. What Tempgmail.io is
Tempgmail.io (“we”, “us”) gives you a temporary email address that receives messages, such as verification codes, so you don’t have to share your real address. Addresses are variations of Gmail inboxes that we operate. By using Tempgmail.io you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, don’t use the service.
2. Not affiliated with Google
Tempgmail.io is an independent service. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google LLC. Gmail and Google are trademarks of Google LLC and are used here only to describe the type of address the service provides.
3. Inboxes are shared and public
- Several people can be given addresses that deliver to the same underlying inbox. Some websites remove the dots from Gmail addresses, and those emails are shown to everyone using that inbox at the time.
- Addresses are temporary. After yours expires, the same or an equivalent address may be given to someone else, who could then receive emails meant for you — including password resets for any account you created with it.
- Treat every email you receive here as visible to strangers.
4. Use it for testing only
Good uses: testing your own apps and sign-up flows, trying a service, downloading a free resource, or avoiding newsletters and spam.
You must not use Tempgmail.io for:
- Government, tax, immigration, police, court or military services.
- Banks, payment apps, cards, loans, investing, insurance or cryptocurrency.
- Health, identity verification, legal documents or e-signatures.
- Any account you want to keep, or that holds money, personal data or anything of value.
- Fraud, scams, phishing, spam, harassment, or anything illegal.
- Getting around another service’s rules, limits, bans or anti-abuse checks, or creating fake accounts in bulk.
- Receiving or distributing malware, or content that sexualises minors.
5. Mail we block
To reduce harm, we automatically hide email from Google’s own account systems and from senders that look like government, military, banking, payment, investing, cryptocurrency, tax and identity services. This filter is a safety measure, not a guarantee: some risky messages may get through and some harmless ones may be hidden. The rules in section 4 apply either way.
6. No guarantee of service
Tempgmail.io is provided free, “as is” and “as available”. Emails may arrive late, not at all, or be removed at any time. Addresses may stop working, and some websites refuse them. We may change, limit or stop the service at any time without notice.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, we are not responsible for any loss or damage from using Tempgmail.io, including lost accounts, lost access, other people reading your emails, or missed messages. You use the service at your own risk.
8. Abuse and blocking
We may limit requests, block addresses, networks or devices, and remove messages to protect the service and others. To report abuse, write to [email protected] with the address and time involved.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. Using Tempgmail.io after a change means you accept the new Terms.
