Roblox Email Verification: Temporary Inbox Guide

Roblox lets you add and verify an email from Settings, then sends a message with instructions to confirm it. A temporary inbox lets you see that message during a quick test.

Before you begin

Open Tempgmail.io and copy the address displayed at the top of the tool. A public address lasts 10 minutes; the timer can extend it. The inbox is shared and should be used only for a disposable test. Check whether Roblox accepts the address in your specific flow: acceptance can vary and is never guaranteed.

What the inbox looks like

1. Enter the temporary address in the Roblox email field for your test.
2. Return to the Tempgmail.io tab and watch the inbox. Messages are checked automatically; use Refresh if needed.
3. Open the expected message and copy its code or follow its verification link within the time limit. The displayed 123 456 in our illustration is a fictional sample, never a real code.

Roblox details

Roblox says a verified email helps you recover your account and is required for logging in with email or a one-time code. Its help page suggests checking spam and adding [email protected] to your contacts if the message does not arrive within a few minutes. Players under 13 should ask a parent to add their email as a parental recovery address. The exact screens and delivery timing can change, so use the service’s current on-screen instructions and Roblox help on verifying your email when a step differs.

When to switch to your own email

Roblox uses the first email added to an account to help prove ownership if the account is ever hacked. Do not leave a temporary address on an account with Robux, limited items or a child’s progress; use a parent’s or your own email instead.

If you decide to keep the account, change its contact email while you still have access to the account and confirm the new address. Do this before the temporary address expires. Tempgmail.io cannot recover a third-party account or resend an old message after its address ends.
